Everyone needs to have a fair chance

CHRIS Hewett’s article last week on Steve Lansdown’s ‘Money-Bags Monopoly Quest’ captured perfectly the issues in English club rugby with some wonderful political analogies and comparisons with other leagues and sports!
I feel like many of us have hopes for fair opportunity for all.
Stuart Barnes’ article in the Times on Monday, June 1 addressed this subject from an Ireland perspective and, like Hewett, exposes the selfish, shortsighted protectionism of those soon to be minnows who can hear the clock ticking!
