Yes, play Six Nations in April and May

I HAVEread many suggestions in recent weeks about a global calendar and franchising in the Premiership.
The global calendar is a great idea for international matches, with a few adjustments.
I would move the eight week block of matches proposed to September and October, as one block.
This would include a four-year rolling programme of RWC, Lions tour and two sets of Nations Cup.
The northern hemisphere domestic season would then start in November, with a British & Irish League made up of 20-24 franchises, playing a 16-week regular season and a four-week play off.
