Deano’s a copper again

DEAN RICHARDS has returned to his first job in the police after volunteering to help Northumbria Police during the coronavirus outbreak.
Richards, 56, who was a policeman before turning professional has joined the force’s resilience unit following an appeal for help now that the Falcons’ season is over.
The former England international will be helping prepare hundreds of pieces of personal protective equipment for frontline officers to use during the pandemic.
