Mason at double in Titans triumph

NICK Mason struck twice as Taunton Titans overcame a dogged Dings Crusaders side at the Towergate Stadium.
Taunton dominated the opening stages and took the lead when Mason outpaced the defence before his size and strength allowed him to stretch for the try which Gary Kingdom converted.
A lapse of concentration then led to a score from Dings’ Brad Doggett on 25 minutes which Steve Plummer improved.
Five minutes later Dings wing Tom Hargan scored to give them a 12-7 lead at half-time.
