COVENTRY fly-half Rory Jennings says the RFU cutbacks in Championship funding are a “kick in the teeth” for players fighting for a crack at top-flight rugby.
Jennings, an England U20s World Cup finalist alongside current Red Rose stars Ellis Genge, Charlie Ewels and Lewis Ludlam in 2015, failed to make a breakthrough at Bath but rebuilt his career at London Scottish last season before switching to Coventry.
