REDRUTH wrapped up a deserved win over Taunton as they weathered brutal conditions for the influential Matt Shepherd to kick his side to victory.
The full-back ended the game with 16 of the hosts’ 26 points for the day as his four first-half penalties made all the difference despite Taunton’s late bid for a comeback.
And Redruth director of rugby Nigel Hambly was in high spirits as his side ended the year with a win against a side battling for promotion.
