AN ENTERTAINING 80 minutes of rugby ended with honours even in the Battle of the two Dales.
The visiting Tynedale opened the scoring with a penalty from Jake Rodgers, but Wharfedale responded by forcing a penalty straight from the kick-off, converted by Jack Blakeney-Edwards.
Outstanding forward play from the Green Machine laid the groundwork for a free-flowing backs move, Harry Bullough crossing to score and Blakeney-Edwards adding the extras.
