Michael Lynagh has been cheering for Australia in the Ashes but expects England to hit opponents for six in the Rugby World Cup.
The former Australia flyhalf, a Webb Ellis Cup winner in 1991, watched in awe as Eddie Jones’ side demolished Ireland 57-15 at Twickenham recently and says the display was a warning to the rest of the planet.
Lynagh is still a devoted Wallaby despite living in England for more than two decades after playing for Saracens between 1996 and 1998.
