EBBW VALE put in a good second-half performance to beat relegation-threatened Bargoed.
However the visitors scored first after a 13th minute sin-bin for Ebbw Vale’s Aneurin Owen, Ashley Norton crossing in the corner for an unconverted try.
Ebbw Vale were then temporarily reduced to 13 after Rob Sevenoaks was shown yellow, but when they eventually got back to 14, they got some points on the board after Rhys Jones slotted home a penalty.
