THE start was delayed by more than an hour due to Tynedale having travel issues on the A1.
But, after a tight opening, the Lions capitulated for the second quarter, conceding seven converted tries to trail by 49 points.
Centre William Miller crossed near the posts, converted by Jake Rodgers.
The defence then conceded a further six tries in 20 minutes, mainly due to poor tackling.
