THE WARATAHS made the most of their bye week to beat Australian rivals Reds 28-17 on their return, but the ‘dangerous’ condition of the pitch at the SCG drew fierce criticism from Reds coach Brad Thorn.
A £395m rebuild of Allianz Stadium means the Waratahs will split their home fixtures between the SCG, where NRL and AFL teams play, and the Western Sydney Stadium, the ground of NRL outfit Parramatta Eels for the 2019 Super Rugby season.
