IRELAND U20 coach Noel McNamara has urged his charges to make sure they complete the Grand Slam away to Wales next Friday. Ireland secured their first title since 2010 with their fourth win in a thrilling encounter – and Wales surprisingly lost in Scotland.
Now McNamara wants a first slam at this age-grade. He said: “This group is motivated by a challenge. It’s a rare opportunity. There are very few people in the history of Irish rugby who have managed to win a grand slam.
