Hoppers find way through as Dale frustrate

GRASSHOPPERS moved two places up the table by exacting revenge for a close defeat by Tynedale earlier in the season.
In the first half, Hoppers dominated possession but led by only six points at the interval.
Errors were frequent from both sides but Hoppers were in charge territorially and a Tom Davidson penalty broke the deadlock midway through the half.
Davidson added a second penalty just before the break following an obstruction, which prevented Ally Murray chasing a kick towards the Dale line.
