Barnes earns bragging rights for Clifton

CLIFTON just about deserved the win in a nip and tuck Bristol derby.
Redcliffians could have taken the lead when Henry Bird broke clear but a poor pass ended that attack and instead it was Clifton who took the lead.
Earning a penalty close to the Redcliffian line, they used their scrum to set the platform for Henry Harper to go in under the posts with Brad Barnes converting.
A period of attacks from both sides was finished on 27 minutes by Alex Kilbane scoring in the corner for Reds, Kieran Hill adding the extras.
