Shoulder problem could force Blues ace Rhun to retire

CARDIFF Blues full-back Rhun Williams is fighting to save his career following a serious shoulder injury sustained in February’s away win over Zebre.
Williams, 21, put in a big tackle on Gabriele di Giulio and he has been sidelined since.
The Rugby Paper understands Williams is still unable to lift weights or take contact due to a severe nerve issue in his shoulder which has put his playing future at risk.
Blues head coach John Mulvihill and the region’s medical team are hopeful the player will make a full recovery, but no date has been set for his return.
