Pontypool wear crest with rightful pride

THE year 1868 marked the debut of the Trades Union Congress, the installation of the first traffic lights in London and the declaration of a new territory in the north-west of the USA called Wyoming. Nearer home something more important happened in Pontypool, the formation of the town’s rugby club.
