CINDERFORD’S last-gasp converted try denied Barnstaple a shock victory.
In the final play, centre Terence Babarinsa thundered over for a match-levelling try and James Moffat added the winning kick.
Few would have given Barnstaple much chance against the champions elect – fewer still when they eased over for a catch-anddrive try by Tim Brockett in the 11th minute.
But with Ryan Carter and Danny Southworth in outstanding form, Barnstaple took every hit from Roger Birkin and Co, and gave plenty back.
