BURY St Edmunds deservedly ground out a victory with a battling display against Redruth in appalling conditions.
The Cornishmen were favourites to prevail given recent performances by both sides but it was Bury, chastened by their humbling at Wimbledon last week, who raced into a 21-7 half-time lead and never allowed Redruth to get back into the game.
