STOURBRIDGE reinforced their title credentials with a 13th win of the season but were given a real run for their money by lowly Wharfedale.
The visitors scored a try after just two minutes when full-back Tom Mann finished off an immaculate handling move. Fly-half Tom Barrett converted and then kicked a penalty to put Wharfedale 10-0 in front. Stour hit back with second row Nick Murphy finally grounding the ball after his forwards piled towards Wharfedale’s line.
