TJs hold on after giftthrow provides winner

ANenthralling local derby delighted the bumper Christmas crowd at Merton Lane, but it was TJs who claimed victory courtesy of a gift of a score.
A Tonbridge squad decimated by illness and injury made their way east for this South Kent derby.
Seven young homegrown academy players featured for them as midseason injuries and a bout of sickness hit the squad.
Despite this, they started the stronger, but Canterbury scored first through full back Ollie Best.
TJs responded through Duncan Tout, who had another outstanding game, particularly in defence....
