SALE turned on the style with a magnificent display in the second half to score 27 unanswered points and ease past Wharfedale. Sale ‘s first try was set up by Aaron Reed, who fielded a ball deep in his own half and broke through a series of tackles to set up an attack. He eventually fed Jonny Rawcliffe who ran in to score. Chris Johnson added the extras.
Tom Barrett kicked a penalty but Sale forwards set up the next converted try for Tom Allen.
