REDRUTH played the conditions far better to deservedly run out winners in a game influenced by Storm Brian.
Clifton played with the conditions first half and looked comfortable early on, scoring a penalty through Brad Barnes. But that was as good as it got as the Redruth pack began to take control of the game.
Redruth kicked a penalty to the 22, secured the line-out ball, with Sam Matavesi and Richard Brown going close before Edd Pascoe finally drove over.
