BARGOED pulled off a stunning second-half comeback to shock Cross Keys at Pandy Park.
The visitors struck first through ex-Keys back-row Ieuan Jones for a 7-0 lead.
But Keys chipped away at the lead and went ahead midway through the first half thanks to a booming long-range penalty from full-back Carl Meyer.
Josh Prosser took over kicking duties and showed why with a pair of accurate kicks to give the hosts a 9-7 lead at half-time, and early in the second half Josh Skinner latched onto Prosser’s perfectly-weighted chip to score.
