■SALE SHARKS have finally resolved their dispute with Castleford Tigers over the signing of England winger Denny Solomona by paying out £200,000.
The parties reached an agreement just days after Solomona scored the match-winning try for England against Argentina.
It means the case won’t go to trial later this year and, on the face it of it, the Sharks appear to have had a result.
I understand they have paid less than they had originally offered the Super League side who were holding out for a £400,000.
