Barnes bask in summer sun with rare win

BARNES upset the form book to take just a fifth win of the season as mid-table Canterbury slipped up at home.
The visitors outscored their opponents by three tries to one as a double for Jamie Collins and one for Fraser Carlisle were enough to seal the win and boost their survival hopes.
Canterbury failed to get on the scorecard until the second half as Barnes established a 17-0 lead in the opening 40.
