TOM Banks late penalty ensured Bishop’s Stortford took a big step towards the league title against a powerful and determined Redingensians Rams team.
After a penalty Will Roberts drove through the Rams defence on 15 minutes for the opening try, but Jacob Atkins responded for the visitors three minutes later.
And Rams went ahead on 23 minutes, Atkins again scoring, and this time converting, but Stortford hit back through a Steve Ball try after Redingensians’ Ben Henderson was sin-binned.
