Three-try win sees Pooler take the crown

PONTYPOOL sealed the Championship crown after they beat Glamorgan Wanderers 23-3.
Pooler had the opportunity to win the title last weekend, but they were humbled by a resurgent Cardiff Met.
There were no mistakes on Saturday though, as tries from Gareth Rusby-Davies, Ben Parry and Callum Davies secured the victory meaning Pooler scooped their first piece of silverware since winning the Division 1 East title in 2008.
Parry’s score took Leighton Jones’ men over 700 points for the season and proved to be their 100th try of the campaign.
