Kingdom reigns as Titans nick one

FOR the second week in a row, Taunton faced a team fighting for points and were once again second best, but this time had Gary Kingdom’s lastminute penalty to thank for scraping the win.
The Titans started brightly with a Nick Mason try on five minutes but failed to turn pressure into more points.
On the 20-minute mark Barnstaple took the lead with a try from Matt Gohl as Jordan Petherbridge added the conversion.
But Taunton claimed the kick-off and Mason notched his second try, with Kingdom adding the extras for a 12-7 lead.
