Players pay tribute to starlet Norkett

TEAMMATES of 20-yearold Elli Norkett paid tribute to the talented rugby player as they played for the first time without her.
Norkett, from Llandarcy, near Neath, died in a car crash on the A4109 on February 25. She played for the women’s rugby team at Cardiff Met University where she was studying sport development.
The team’s game against Loughborough University on Friday night was moved to Cardiff Arms Park with a minute’s applause in her memory prior to kick-off.
Norkett was the youngest player in the 2014 Rugby World Cup and had won four caps by the age of 17.
