Mallinder searching for top-class No.10

NORTHAMPTON rugby director Jim Mallinder is hunting more backline leaders to augment the signing of Australia Test centre Rob Horne.
Horne, below, will arrive from the Waratahs on a three-year contract this summer and Mallinder has stepped up his search for a No.10 after having an audacious approach for Wales’ Dan Biggar rebuffed.
Mallinder said: “We’re looking to strengthen in a couple of areas – the backs are where we need to focus. We’re after a top quality No.10 and, hopefully, we’ll get one before the end of the season.”
