World Cup winner pens new Worcester deal

centre Wynand Olivier has put pen to paper on a new deal to remain at Sixways.
The 2007 winner, who has played 41 times for Warriors since joining the club in October 2015, has played for 38 times with his last appearance coming in June 2014 in a win over .
At club level, Olivier, 33, was a key component of a successful side in his home country from 2005 to 2013, where he tasted both and Currie Cup success with the province.
He then moved to for two seasons with making 38 appearances and featured for the illustrious at Sixways in September 2015.
He said: “I’ve felt at home since moving to Worcester where I’ve made some great friends inside and outside of the club.
“Hopefully I can help us push up the table towards our goal of becoming a top-end side.”
Warriors Director of Rugby Gary Gold said: “Wynand is an experienced international who has been fantastic for us during his first couple of seasons with the club.
“He adds vital know-how to the backline and we’re delighted he’s decided to extend his stay.”
