Bowden leaves Bath by mutual consent

Bath have confirmed that utility back Dan Bowden has been released from his contract by mutual consent.
Bowden joined from team The Blues in January 2016 to provide urgent cover at fly-half and centre but will now return to his native , before deciding the next step in his rugby career.
The former New Zealand U19 and U21 player had previous experience having represented and before returning to New Zealand in 2014.
The 30-year-old has found game-time hard to come by this season featuring only four times across all competitions.
Director of Rugby, Todd Blackadder said: “We’d like to thank Dan for the commitment he has shown during his time at the club. He’s a great professional and we’d like to wish him all the best for the future.”
