Sale sign Chief Byron McGuigan

Sale Sharks have secured the signing of Byron McGuigan from Exeter Chief on a two-year deal.
The Namibian-born full-back has previously played for Border Bulldogs, Glasgow Warriors and also for Bay of Plenty in New Zealand’s ITM Cup.
He moved to Sandy Park in November 2014 and has since made 18 appearances in all competitions.
He said: “I’m very pleased to have the opportunity to sign for Sale Sharks. It’s a great club, with fantastic ambition so it’s awesome to come here.
“It was an easy decision for me to come here. It’s great to join a club with such drive and determination to succeed.”
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond commented: “Byron is a great addition to the squad, who’ll fit in really well. He’ll add to our squad as we aim to get in the Top Four of the Aviva Premiership.”
