New Sale deal for David Seymour

Sale Sharks have today announced that David Seymour has signed a new two-year deal with the club.
The flanker joins Will Addison and Mark Jennings in committing their future to the Sharks this week.
Seymour, 31, has played 160 games for the club since arriving from Saracens in 2009 to cement his status as one of the club’s key senior men.
He said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the club and was delighted to be offered a new deal. We have a great squad of players here and a great club culture. Dimes has blended senior professionals with home grown talent and it’s definitely a successful formula.”
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said: “David is one of the best in his position in the Premiership. I have been very fortunate in that I signed David when I coached at Saracens and have also coached him at for the last five years.
“He is one of the senior professionals at the club and is well respected by the whole squad. David wants to help us continue our journey and wants to enjoy success at the club. He is one of our four captains and I am baffled that he has been overlooked by England again.”
