Matt Kvesic will miss Gloucester‘s Champions Cup qualifiers after being handed a three-week ban for his tip tackle on Tomas O’Leary on Saturday.
The flanker, who pleaded guilty to the offence at a disciplinary hearing last night, was sent off on the spot by referee Craig Maxwell-Keys and will also miss the West Country derby against Bath in the last round of the Premiership on Saturday.
The hearing also saw Leicester centre Seremaia Bai receive a three-week ban for his shoulder charge on Wasps‘ No.8 Nathan Hughes which also saw him sent off.
