Jacques Burge will appear in front of a disciplinary hearing for allegedly striking Racing Metro scrum-half Maxime Machenaud in Saracens‘ Champions Cup quarter-final on Sunday.
The incident, a late swinging forearm in the 40th minute of Saracens’ last-gasp 12-11 win, was not spotted by referee Nigel Owens but Burger was cited after the game by citing commissioner Eugene Ryan.
