Tries from Thibault Regard and Lachie Munro opened a 10-0 lead at half-time for the French while Damian Fitzpatrick made it 17-0 on the hour.
That’s when the Exiles, who have not in the Premiership either, reacted and they managed to cross the line twice, through Rob Lewis and Koree Britton, to salvage the losing bonus-point, the only point to their name in six rounds.
