Bristol and Jersey win in Championship

Bristol secured their first bonus-point of the season with a 45-17 success over the Cornish Pirates.
They scored seven tries in total with full-back Auguy Slowik grabbing a brace and hooker Max Crumpton crossing for his first try for the club. Andy Short, Mitch Eadie and Matthew Morgan also touched down, while referee Darren Gamage awarded a first half penalty try.
Matt Bolwell, Kieran Goss and Kyle Moyle crossed for the Pirates but they left Ashton Gate with their third defeat of the season and remain rock bottom.

Meanwhile, Jersey came back from Nottingham with a 39-12 win at Nottingham.
Former Wasps full-back Tommy Bell scored two of the Islanders five tries and ended the game with a personal haul of 24 points.
Drew Locke, Mark Foster and Nick Haining also went over for the visitors while Nottingham’s points came from the boot of Will Maisey and his four penalties.
