Sonny Bill Williams has signed a two-year contract to return to the Chiefs in 2015 in time for the World Cup in England
The New Zealand dual-code international has agreed the deal with New Zealand Rugby Union which will also allow him to play at the 2016 Olympics in Rio in the inaugural Sevens tournament.
“We are delighted to have agreed terms which will see him return in 2015,” said NZRU chief executive Steve Tew.
“Sonny has shown he is an outstanding talent and a real asset.”
