Room 101: JJ Hanrahan – Northampton fly-half

JJ Hanrahan1. Outside Lane Hoggers
Drivers back home in are particularly bad for staying in the outside lane when there is plenty of space on the inside to pull over and let quicker cars behind them through. It is for overtaking after all! I wouldn't call myself an impatient driver, I just like people to drive in the right lane for the speed they are travelling. Thankfully people in the UK seem to have a better grasp of this.
TRP verdict: Kindly direct your Ire back home then!
2. Sneaky Speed Cameras
This may seem ironic but I've already been caught speeding a couple of times in the six months I've been over in the UK. Nothing major, I hasten to add, just a few miles over. There's one particular camera, hidden at the side of a road as you descend into this village, that catches me out. Hopefully I've learnt my lesson now.
TRP verdict:  Is 40 the new 30? I don't think so.
3. Freeze-dried Instant Coffee
I used to be an instant coffee drinker … but no more! Once you have tried the proper stuff, you never go back. That would be like going on the best and fastest ride at Disneyland and then going on the lamest. I share a house with team-mates Alex Corbisiero, Calum Clark, Jon Fisher and James Craig and we're all into our coffee. We've got an aero press and a drip filter and there's even talk of opening up a shop one day.
TRP verdict: Sorry, there's no grain of truth in your argument.
