RFU must tell us what it plans to do

DEFEAT by Italy means that another Six Nations passes by with England grossly under-achieving.
The worst aspect is that large parts of the country, and the majority of its clubs, can do nothing to help. With no representative stage between club and country, no player outside the ‘Prem’ will play for England, and ring-fencing means that no club from the Championship downwards can ever get in the ‘Prem’. The perfect double whammy.
The RFU must say how - or if – it intends to change things so that areas like Yorkshire, Kent and Cornwall are involved. Or is ...
