Why are so many leaving Wales?

I AM in full agreement with Peter Hansford when he says that to be the best you must play the best. My gripe is that you should not do so when you can only field a shadow of your best team. He also suggests (Letters, Dec 7) I only wrote with hindsight. I am a WRU debenture holder and didn’t seek my guaranteed tickets for the South Africa match– that was foresight not hindsight. As Peter appears to be something of an apologist for the WRU, perhaps he should ask them why so many seasoned internationals have chosen to play outside Wales – soon to be joined by players ...
