LETTER: RFU rewards failure in Premiership Cup

Following my previous letter on the subject, the RFU decision to bar Cambridge and Chinnor from the Premiership Cup now looks more cockeyed.

FOLLOWING my previous letter on the subject, the RFU decision to bar Cambridge and Chinnor from the Premiership Cup now looks more cockeyed.
This is because these two teams won 24 games between them last season and are left out in the cold.
Yet, Newcastle Falcons failed to register even a single victory during the 2023/24 season and are still included.
Talk about rewarding failure.
