Great match but why no female officials?

Up and running: Kelsey Jones scores the first try for Gloucester

WHAT a great advert for women’s rugby. Last weekend’s Premier XVs final was a credit to both sides and well worth watching. My point in writing is to register my disappointment that the powers that be did not see fit to appoint female officials for this match.
There are a number of highly capable female refs who could have been appointed to this high profile match but once again rugby’s administrators showed their lack of competence or nous. It does not bode well for the future of our game.
