Porter’s high tackle deserved red card

THERE appears to be no reason Wayne Barnes won't find as mitigation not to send someone off for a high tackle.
I am of course referring to the Andrew Porter tackle on Brodie Retallick, which drew only a yellow card, because he was “absorbing the tackle”.
The brave, correct decisions need to come from the top. One guy has hit another in the head with his own because the tackle wasn't low enough. That has to be the bottom line.
Stop automatically looking for mitigation and start giving decisions on face value.
