Lower tackle height

LIKE many others, I’ ve become increasingly concerned by the number of head injuries and concussions in our great game. Surely it is time to consider more drastic decisions to reduce these incidents which usually result from a high tackle.
If the borderline for tackling was set at the waist or below players would learn to adapt and the head would be protected. Such a move would have the additional advantage of freeing up the ball carrier’s arms, encouraging more offloading and continuous play.
