Game needs greater terrestrial exposure

AMONG programmes shown on terrestrial TV last week were horse racing, women’s football, Formula One and Rugby Union (Cardiff v Toulouse on a Welsh language channel).
English rugby? Zero from either European or domestic games, live or recorded. Is English rugby seriously trying to address its decreasing playing numbers with European games on a subscription channel the only matches shown involving English clubs?
