Relegation battle will be tasty, if there is one

THEY say it every year, but this could be the most thrilling Premiership season yet!
Exeter will still take some catching at the top but at last there are a few clubs making ground, while at the bottom, the relegation battle is anyone’s guess.
Newcastle’s impressive start allied to a new steeliness at Tigers, London Irish moving to a new stadium and Worcester promising much under Alan Solomons, means there will be an almighty battle for survival.
The last thing we need now is for the suits to tell us that they are ring-fencing the Premiership. It would kill the drama.
