Greedy to demand greater slice of the cake

ANOTHER excellent article this week from Jeff Probyn, focussing on the one-eyed attitude of Premiership clubs, as reflected in Tony Rowe’s complaint that the RFU won’t pay the clubs even more than the extortionate sums already being paid under the Professional Game Agreement.
The PGA is very largely responsible for the governing body’s parlous finances, which has steadily reduced the RFU’s ability to invest further in the grassroots game, yet the top clubs are still not content.
