Myners is right, raise players culbability

I AGREE with Lord Myners’ recommendation that players should also carry some accountability for breaches of the salary cap and we need look no further than Saracens for the reasons why. When Nigel Wray proposed co-investment deals to the marquee players, it is inconceivable that they did not ask “why?”. It is similarly inconceivable that the response would have included reference to the salary cap.
